NBLC Member Listing

Director:

Marilyn Waters
Marilyn became the director of NBLC in September of 2004, about 5 days before hurricane Ivan hit the Bay Minette area. Marilyn is a graduate of the University of Mobile, and also teaches piano.

We'd like to thank all those listed below for their participation and involvement in continuing to support the NBLC as volunteers in various positions.

Board Members

President: Joanna Bailey
Joanna is the Director of the Bay Minette Public Library and former director of the NBLC.

Vice President: Janet Krettek
Janet is a surgeon in Bay Minette and long time member of the board. She is originally from Chicago, IL.

Secretary: Cheryl Clark
Cheryl has been involved with the NBLC since its beginning. She has served as president of the board of directors and is trained certified tutor in Reading, English as a Second Language and GED Studies.

Mary Blackman
Mary is a retired Elementary School Teacher and longtime member of the board.

Frances Campbell
Frances is a teacher in Baldwin County School system. She is new to the board.

Annie Horace
Annie works with Regions Bank and has been a dedicated member of the board for many years. She has been instrumental in helping to develop fund raising ideas.

Jerry Rice
Jerry works with Quincy Compressor in Bay Minette and Tutors with the NBLC also. Jerry has been very valuable in obtaining funding for the program.

Tracey Levins
Tracey is manager of the local Dollar General store. He just came on board this year and has had some good ideas for promoting the program. Dollar General Foundation is a major funder for literacy programs across the nation.
